The Season of LoVe

7 days and counting until the day of love is upon us. For those of you who have someone special to share it with, I'm sure you are ecstatic. For the rest of us who will celebrate it (or not-your choice) alone, or with friends, or with Ben and Jerry, it's ok. This is not the first Valentines when I will be alone and so I know for a fact you will survive, as will I. NOTE: I'm not someone who wears black that day, sneers and hisses at lovers passing me by, or even throws things at the poor people who can't help being in love. I did, once in college, make "Happy VD" (VD=Valentines Day or Venerial Disease, get it) cards for friends with my roommate. We figured it fit our moods at the time.

But, today the news came out with a story of lovers from over 5000 years ago who were found burried together, in an embrace. I'm going to share the picture with you. I hope that those of you reading this aren't the quesy type. To me it is just so romantic. To die in the arms of the one you love. Now, that is something that I hope for. Not to die any time soon, but to find that someone who I can feel that passionately about. No worries, no big hurry. I trust the Big Guy upstairs. I believe that He is taking His time, making sure that my man is perfect. Which quite possibly could mean that my man will be better than yours if you already have him. JUST KIDDING!

AWWWW! That is pretty cool. And I agree, Wed is not a day for black. I am excited because my kids are excited, really excited and they keep telling me they'll be my valentines:-)
